Jewelry Making Steps:

1. Design the jewelry pattern you prefer on the bead board.

Try different bead color and shape combination until you are happy with your design.

2. Cutting the bead wire for your gemstone jewelry.

For the gemstone jewelry necklace, the bead wire, normally, should be 17 to 19 inches.

For the gemstone jewelry bracelet, the bead wire, normally, should be 7 to 8 inches.

However, there should also be 6 inches of spare wire for attaching the clasp.

3. Start string beads. String your first crimp bead onto the beading wire and bring the end of the wire through the hole at the bottom of one side of the toggle clasp. Thread the wire back through the crimp bead to make a loop. Tighten the loop and crimp in place.

String your gemstone beads onto the beading wire as you designed them on your beading board. Cover the wire tail with the first several beads and continue stringing until the length of beads measures a half-inch shorter than the final length of your necklace or bracelet.

Repeat beading with the second crimp bead at the other end of your necklace or bracelet. Before crimping, thread any excess wire through several gemstones.
